Happy pride from Curology! We wouldn’t be the skincare company we are without our queer family, from our co-workers to our patients. To honor the legacy of the Stonewall Riots, we asked three of our favorite LGBTQ influencers to play Show and Tell. We’re also celebrating pride month with some concrete actions to support the LGBTQAI+ community.
For #PrideMonth, we’ve donated to The Trevor Project, an organization committed to suicide prevention among the LGBTQ community. We hope to amplify the message that no matter your gender identification or sexual orientation, you matter.
We’ll be sharing stories from LGBTQ members of our community that demonstrate their vulnerability—and their strength. They’ll show us how they love, how they self-soothe, and how they nurture their inner child.
Wen (he/they) is a fashion designer who has inspired many fellow Asian Americans to come out as trans. One way Wen practices self-love is by getting tattoos—“It helps a lot with loving my body more and just appreciating that I have art on my skin.” Their favorite way to practice self-care is by cuddling their cat, Bao.

Amy (she/her) is a queer content creator born in Australia and currently based in Los Angeles. Creativity and nature are infused into her self-care; when the moon is out, she loves to take a candle to the beach for a manifestation ritual. She also loves journaling and her three cats: Max, Wednesday, and Butter.

Abdi (he/him) is a Latinx dancer who was born in Puerto Rico and loves to rep the pride rainbow in his outfits. He has dedicated his life to the art of dance. You might even say it runs in the family—his mom, aunt, and partner are all dancers, too! His favorite memory from childhood is a cowboy birthday party. He likes to keep his inner child alive by looking at family photos.

Unconditional love and acceptance are human needs. That’s why it’s important to celebrate the LGBTQAI+ community for pride month and all year round. Whoever you are, make sure to show yourself some extra love—you’re perfect just the way you are. 💜🌈
