Hi Alexis. How long have you used Curology? This is my fifth year using Curology. I started before the pandemic, so when the masks came off it was full face reveal, full new me.

How did you find out about Curology? I found out about Curology through an online ad, so scrolling and so I, I think I still have the ad, where it's like your first box is free, so definitely I was like, yeah, I'll try it for sure. Were you using any treatments before Curology? I feel like I tried everything. I tried the prestigious brands, the different lines of skincare. I tried changing my diet, I tried drinking a lot more water and I didn't really see any results, so then I just decided to try Curology. What issues were you experiencing that brought you to Curology? I had a lot of breakouts along the sides of my cheeks. Just overall congestion on my face. My skin was really rough and bumpy, it was just all over my face. It just had a lot of texture. What was the process of signing up for Curology like? I think it's relatively easy to sign up. You just go onto the website, give details about yourself, your age, and then you talk to the provider, send in a couple pictures of yourself, and then they respond back to you with what your Custom Formula would be and then they ship it to you. Anytime I had a new skin issue or I've even changed my formula, I just reach out [to my provider], I shoot 'em a quick message and they're pretty quick about responding maybe within a day. What formula are you using right now? HydroTret. I was using Custom Formula before and then as I got older I decided I wanted to target more for anti-aging. What's really nice about it is that my skin remained clear, even though I wasn't specifically targeting acne. So, even though I changed my formula, my skin remained pretty clear. What does the rest of your skincare routine look like? Honestly, I really want to be that 10 steps skincare girl, but I'm really not. I just wash my face, put it on and go to bed. I also use this serum, the Brightening Vitamin C Serum. I also buy the Lip Balm. I just needed a really good lip balm and I just figured Curology works for skin and lips have skin, so therefore they should make a good lip balm and it truly really works pretty well. Did you have a moment where you realized your Curology treatment was working? Yeah, so when I actually first started Curology, the first formula that they sent me didn't work. I messaged my provider and said, hey, it's been a month and I'm not really seeing any difference. They said, yeah, don't worry about it, we'll send you a new one. They sent me another bottle and then within a few weeks, I first started to notice my acne scarring was going away. Then after the first month, I stopped seeing a lot less breakouts. After the third month, I just saw an instant improvement in my skin. I feel like there are so many skincare products out there and it's kind of overwhelming sometimes to see what you could use. At the end of the day, this is made just for you and targets your skin concerns. I think that's why it works so well.

Do you talk to people in your life about your skin journey? I've had the same friends for probably 10, or some people, over 15 years. They've seen you through all of the stages of your life. So, they saw when I had all of the breakouts and they were some of the first people to tell me, oh my gosh, your skin looks really clear. That felt really good too. I feel like I do recommend [Curology] pretty often, just whenever people are talking about the next new trend or whatever. Like I'm proof that it works. What advice would you give to yourself five years ago? To have more confidence because it does get better. This [Curology] is a product that actually tries to help people. If you had to sum up your experience in one word or phrase, what would it be? Probably brighter. Yeah, just a better outlook on life. It sounds kind of cliche, when you look good, you feel good, but it's true, right? You go out every day and you face every day with your face. When you know you feel good and you look good, then it's just overall, it's just great.
